“Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu instructed His disciples to write books on the science of Krsna, a task which those who have followed Him continue to do to the present. The elaborations and expositions on the philosophy taught by Lord Caitanya are indeed very voluminous, exact and consistent due to the system of disciplic succession. Although Lord Caitanya was widely renowned as a sage during His youth, He left only eight verses, called Siksastaka. These eight verses clearly reveal His mission and precepts.”

Almost five hundred years after Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu walked among us, the verses of Sri Siksastaka continued to take all Vaishnavas deeper and deeper into the science and experience of the pure, spontaneous and enveloping love of Godhead. His Holiness Bhakti-Tirtha explores these verses from a contemporary perspective and helps modern devotees gain strength and realization of this timeless message, while reminding us of the important role we must play in carrying Lord Caitanya's legacy to future generations.
